Who are we ?

Background

During the 90s , and in the midst of the charged political tense atmosphere, a wide range of intellectuals , abandoned their roles and got involved in the repression machine brute ,and this caused the extermination of the role of youth and culture due to the creation of a “forbidden culture” the so-called “nowhere” ; a space in which it is impossible to establish a social entity because it is only a transit device. From December 17th till January 14th, 2011 these places quickly embraced the ritual of new artistic and visual protest that the recipient is not used to it. thus ,not only the wall graffiti that bears the slogans of revolutionaries ,the images with loud colors on the walls of the cities and slums that ridicules symbols of despotic that became an outlet but also performances of art became a way of achieving the desire and goals of youth .as a group of young people, professors, and unemployed – creators from the heart of the rural areas ,popular neighborhoods, andfrom the depth perception and sense of marginalization we are determined to “produce new popular ceremonies in order to rehabilitatethe public space and to restore social relations . we are Committed to the principle of the challenge of the condition of extreme marginalization experienced by the young urban slums, hoping that this idea expands in the popular areas to become an artistic and youth phenomenon sweeping the streets in order to establish an alternative culture and Upgrade crippled talents as well as defending the right of the young to express their opinions and freedom of creativity.

  • WE consider that the human rights cosmic system is the approach that brings us together so we work through it and develop it in the context of a controversy that sets us apart based on the depth of the contents of our mission and vision.

Our ways

We are stick to the necessity of creating and innovating new forms in order to have a struggling line based on achieving further progress and development with dimensions contained in the philosophy and literature emanating from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
1. Benefit from experiences :Our project” my art in spite of me” IS A CLEAR example about what can be produced by active marginalized categories ,it is a model of an organized activity and interactively among an elite that want to be present and to come out with useful lessons lessons le show that the work according to the human rights approach with new actors and with the audience masses in depth achieve higher values of citizenship democracy and social interaction.
2. Using expressive cinematic notions: We have adopted the term “my right” in all our projects and activities to be accomplished. because it expresses our will to spread the culture of human rights and the approaches based on participation and participatory and we consider the process in its entirety mechanism as a way to enhance forms of struggling, human rights d democratic practice and the act of citizenship .
3. Permanent rooting for concepts: Such as implanting the values of citizenship and democracy among new activists to make it a tradition .in all the projects of our Association “my art in spite of me “.
4. Work and development: A culture of human rights is useless to its citizens if it does not serve humanitarian issues .and it has no meaning if it tries to find solutions without the participation of all citizens.
5. – Framing new young activists in the civil, social and cultural movement: Because of the contradictions that will emerge in this transitional period we will be present innovative, effective and efficient ways. to frame new activists to take advantage of the activities and programs of the association or to achieve the positive participation of this .and through the success of the experience of street arts we decided to continue developing this experience by creating specialized groups .

  • Framing new actors of young people in civil, social and cultural movement

Framing the Active youth in Civil, social and Cultural Movements because within the Similarities and contradictions resulted in these next transitions, we will witness a movement for which we need to be present with effective, efficient and innovative methods either to frame new actors and people wanting to learn from the activities and programs provided , or to make sure of a positive and supporting participation. Thus, through the success of the street arts’ initiative in order to retrieve rights, it was decided to continue developing the experience by sending specialized cultural teams and groups across the different regions of our country.

  • Work and Development

Pointing to the obscurity and usefulness of an organized Civic rights culture do not serve or reveal humanitarian issues. Thus they are meaningless when they do not try to carve solutions based on induction and patriotic formulas

  • Lasting rooting concepts

Rooting citizenship and democratic values of the new activists till they become a tradition in all our projects.

  • Our mainly used concepts

we have adopted the term "my right" in our projects and activities that we want to accomplish because it reflects our will of making active members aware with the culture of human rights, that is based on perspectives and participation by considering the entire process not only as a mechanism to enhance Legal struggle or Democratic practice or even the act of citizenship but also to evaluate the manifestations of the activists or the new beneficiaries

  • Benefit from the experience

Fanni Raghman Anni project is a clear example of what can be produced by the new active and marginalized groups . It is a form of organized interactive activity between the elite who were Formed to come out with lessons and reveal that working according to the human rights-based approach with new activists and masses helps not only to achieve the highest values such as citizenship and democracy ,but it also helps to achieve various forms of social and virtual networking .
